Royal San Marco Hotel Venice

I was thrilled upon arrival to discover that the Royal San Marco Hotel is just 50 meters from St. Marks Square. The convenience of being so close to the heart of the city made exploring Venice easy. Despite a few minor setbacks, the overall experience was positive.

Great location, just a short walk from the main square and close to all the action. Easy access to public transportation and plenty of nearby food options. The room was a bit small but had all the conveniences, perfect for solo travelers.

Not enough staff at breakfast, had to wait for basic items like glasses and utensils. Some rooms had issues with noisy air conditioning and awkward shower setup.

Located 30m from the Central Square, with a complimentary boat trip to Murano island. Clean and tastefully decorated in typical Venetian style. Convenient for water taxis and tours to Murano/Burano islands.

The location of this hotel was perfect! It was just a stone's throw away from the main square, making it convenient to explore the sights and attractions. the buffet breakfast provided by the hotel was fantastic. There were plenty of options, both hot and cold, to choose from and it was a great way to start the day. the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, making our stay more fun.

Although we had a wonderful stay overall, there were a few minor issues. the bed and pillows were quite hard, a bit uncomfortable to sleep on.

Perfect location, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, spacious room with amenities, convenient water bus transportation.

The hotel is located near some extremely loud activity at around 7 am two out of three mornings, which can be disruptive to sleep.

I had an amazing stay at this place! The location was absolutely perfect, right next to the bustling San Marco Square. It was so convenient and easy to find. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything I needed. The room was spacious and clean, with a charming Venetian-style decor that added to the overall experience. I especially loved the full breakfast included in my stay, it was delicious and it really set me up for the day ahead. The service here was top-notch, from the attentive staff to the impeccable housekeeping. I couldn't have asked for a more luxurious and comfortable stay.

I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Although the Italian street signs were a bit confusing, we followed the helpful advice to face the clock in the square and turned left under the covered area to find the hotel. The front of house staff were approachable and assisted us whenever we needed guidance.
